Hey y'all, I'm Sarah
Allow me to introduce myself
I’m the photographer behind L3 Photography, and I specialize in capturing real, authentic stories — from county show barns to PRCA rodeo arenas and everything in between.
I grew up living this life — working cattle, showing livestock, and learning the value of hard work and a firm handshake. This way of life shaped who I am, and now I use my camera to preserve the kind of moments that matter: the ones that feel honest, rugged, and true to those on the other end of my lens.

Fun Facts About Me

- I grew up on a cattle ranch in Carrizo Springs, Texas, but have called Lubbock, Texas, home for seven years.
- My interest in photography started around age 10.
- I currently hold a PRCA permit.
- I have a bachelor’s and master’s degree in agricultural communications from Texas Tech University.
- I showed Boer goats and Santa Gertrudis heifers for 10 years through 4-H.
- I rodeoed through middle and high school and feel most at home in an arena.
- When I’m not shooting, I’m at home hanging out with my deaf red heeler, Josephine, listening to a podcast, or watching a true crime documentary.
- I love all things western, collecting turquoise, a good meal with my family, a firm handshake, and a crisp Coke after a long day of shooting.
- I’m intensely passionate about preserving the livestock and western industries through images that show the "why" behind them.
- It is my highest goal to set a positive example in the western photography space and doing all I can to preserve the western way of life I grew up living.
